The new academic year and student events are here! It is yet again time to introduce Magna Carta's new freshers what sitsfest are all about! With the help of older students our new freshers will get a chance to learn everything about sitsfest etiquette. During the sitsfest we will drink, eat, sing and enjoy the company of other students.

Last spring, Magna Carta's board published the subject association's sitsfest rules on its website, which you can visit in advance to see what you can expect from sitsfests: Magna's sitsfest rules

 

This year the theme for the sitsfest is your hometown. Please arrive to the sitsfest dresses as something that reminds you of your hometown. Only the sky's the limit when it comes to dressing for sitsfests so be creative! Otherwise you might get a punishment!

 

The sitsfest is held at Tilia (T-building) on Seminaarinmäki on Monday September 23th at 5:30 PM. The doors open at 5:10 PM so be on time or you will be punished. The sitsfest is BYOB (bring your own bottle), so please bring your own drinks & a shot glass (Any dish that holds a shot works)!

 

Ticket sale begins on kide.app on Friday September 13th at 11am and ends on Wednesday September 18th at 6 PM. Alcohol ticket costs 11€ and the alcohol-free ticket costs 8€. On Sunday at 12 PM all ticket types will be available for everyone to buy. For example, if the older students' tickets are sold out, older students will be able to buy tickets from the freshers ticket base. All tickets include two shots and a meal.
