MAGNA'S MONTHLY EVENTS

Tuesday Club

      • Tuesday Club is held on the first Tuesday of every month in Teerenpeli. It's a chill hangout with board games and pub quizes. The event is published monthly on Facebook, Instagram and the email mailing list.

    Tips from previous freshers

”DEFINITELY take part in the Freshmen party! You really get to know other students there. Attending other parties in the very beginning is important for creating contacts – you don’t have to drink, but be active when it comes to social activities!”

”Be social. Go to the parties and other meetings, especially at the beginning of the year. You will get to know your ”classmates” and other students easy. Remember that Magna Carta is a group of really amazing people who like to have fun, you’re always welcome to join. Older students will help you, don’t be afraid to ask.”

”University is not just about studying and partying, it’s also about meeting new people and having new experiences and learning about yourself. So make the most out of it.”

”Go to Magna’s board meetings, so you can influence what kinds of things Magna does and also meet new people. Join the board if you at all feel like it, it’s fun and will give you insight.”

”Give feedback to Magna, tell them if there’s something wrong with teachers, courses, Magna’s parties, whatever. They’re there to help.”

”Be yourself; I’ve never met a more diverse group of weirdos than the English department.”

”Expect the best, be happy. You are in.”
